best: enjoyed the nice weather and we made our deck look all pretty with lots of flowers and herbs
worst: i bailed out at the last minute for a free beach trip. my parents invited me to FL for the week and I had decided to go and then realized that I forgot to get a pedicure (which is overdue) and I was feeling too lazy to pack so I stayed here. I am now kicking myself. I could have woken up to the sound of waves and spent the day reading my kindle with my feet in the sand. Boo on me.Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Best: the weather, spending time with my parents, Mellow mushroom pizza on Sunday.
Worst: forgetting that I had a take-home quiz due today and not remembering until 10 on Sunday night.
Best: Dinner with some really old friends from middle school! Haven't seen them in over 20 years, and now we live in the same city.
Worst: Trying to clean out DH's house. I am already feeling completely overwhelmed as it is. And as we were going through stuff, I can't believe how much stuff he has. Stuff he never used, stuff still in packages (sheets, door hardware, etc), tons of cleaning supplies and yard chemicals, (I am talking gallons and gallons!), etc. I mean the amount of stuff is insane. Seriously. A lot of it we can get rid of, some of it he still thinks he might use some day.. I am not so optimistic.. I guess at least we have room for it. But, it completely overwhelmed me, and it kind of makes me want to cry. Blah. I find too much stuff suffocating.
best - shopping spree on sat with my mom - all at her expense. i can't believe how much stuff she bought me. brunch outside at einstein's yesterday with an old friend - it was awesome
worst - my h and i were listening to the 80's channel on sat am and he started crying because his son is graduating college in about a month.
Best: Lots of fun time exploring Virginia. The weather was beautiful yesterday and it is supposed to be in the 80s today!
Worst: DH really wanted to watch the early basketball game on Saturday but Joel McHale was coming to do standup, so I convinced him to drive to Blacksburg and skip the game. We wasted the whole day and when we went to the building for the show, there was a ghetto, handwritten note on the door that said that due to inclement weather, it was being moved to next weekend. Really annoying.
best: getting ALLLL of the tile, concrete, debris etc. from our bathroom reno, plus all the bricks from our chimney that had to be taken down, plus our old hot tub that cost too much to run, plus all the old wall wood from the man cave into the dumpster!!!! so so so glad it's all gone.
worst: when my mom accidentally dropped the wheelbarrow on me while dumping tile into the dumpster...just glad it didn't hurt too bad the next day. all in all, not really a worst for the weekend, i felt super productive.

Best: Fun mountain bike race on Saturday, good long road ride with friends on Sunday, friend's bday party Sat. night, movies w/DH Friday night. It was a good weekend
Worst: My face got really windburned from being outside all day on Saturday.

My Nest Bio and Cycling Advice
best - my BFF got marrrrrrrrried on Sat! It was a jam packed weekend. Mani/pedi on Fri, hair salon on Sat, wedding, party party party. MrBAMF drove the bride & groom back to the hotel in his MINI. It was very cute! We were out in Suwanee, so it was like an entirely different city for us, even if it was just a 30-40 min drive!
worst - it was crazy busy and I am now very tired. My allergies held off until Sun morning, thankfully, but now I am a mess trying to catch up at work.

Best: We made it to the outlets on Saturday and the IL's bought us some stuff. Also, realizing that the IL's are actually leaving tomorrow instead of Tuesday. That's a precious 24 extra hours!
Worst: DH thinking it would be a great idea to have a picnic at Lake Alatoona in the very strong, pollen-y wind. It didn't go over well. My allergies have also really kicked into high gear.
Best: The beautiful weather Saturday. I went shopping and found an amazing dress for 30 dollars down from 118. Dh and I also went to the Sweetwater Brewery Tour, it was a good way to enjoy the afternoon in the sun.
Worst: Going to a Asian place near the Mall of Georgia and buying/eating crap food. It was not worth the calories at all. I hate disappointing meals.
