I'm ready to kill myself, or someone else

I'm on the fourth day of no sugar.  I'm at the point where I know I'm feeling better,  but I really want a cookie!

As if that weren't hard enough, I promised a friend I would make him some cookies today in exchange for some Cirque tickets he's giving me.  So, now I have a couple dozen monster cookies that are taunting me.  I did eat half of one, becuase I wasn't about to give people something that I hadn't tasted.  I'm proud that I only at half, but it's taking all of my will power not to eat a couple more.

  • The sugar addiction is the hardest one to break, but stay strong.  You can do it!!
  • You are a stronger woman than I.  I have no will power for sweets....

Seriously.  You're stronger than I just by trying to give up sugar.  I wouldn't even bother; I know I couldn't do it.

    Ditto...er...tritto?

It is really really tough!! I am trying to reduce the amount of sugar I eat, but not totally eliminate, I would fail...You can do it!

  • I'm not cutting it out entirely.  I won't cut out some things that I know have sugar in them, like peanut butter.  You will have to pry my jar of peanut butter from my cold, dead hands.  But I am giving it up in things that are basically sugar on their own, like baked goods (boo), and obviously stuff like candy and whatnot.  I have found that natural sugars don't bother me, so I have all the fruit I want, and I can have honey.  So at least that's a plus.  But you know, sometimes I just want a freakin' cookie!
