Ultrasound ?
Do most people get an ultrasound done at their first OB appt (10 weeks)? Or, am I getting this cuz I am old? haha.
I didn't have an ultrasound with Kellen until the 22 week mark. Just wondering why they automatically signed me up when I called to schedule my appt a couple of weeks ago.

A lot of OB's will do an ultraound at your first appointment, especially if you have a tilted uterus or if you don't know the exact date of ovulation.
Then they do another at around 12wks for NT screening, etc.
Then another at 20ish weeks for anatomy
and possibly another for size/breathing practice around 32-36wks.
I go to ObGyn Assc and didn't have one until 24 weeks. However, I've gotten one at nearly every appointment since because the little stinker is causing a bit of concern for the doctors.
I'm 23 if that makes a difference

I had one at my first appt (6w4d), 13 weeks for my NT scan, and 20ish weeks for the anatomy scan.
So no, I doubt you were being targeted for age

we did with DS b/c i have long cycles, and then didnt have another until 23 wks.
Some drs offices have it standard, others dont.
