H and I are trying to rent out a condominium in South Tampa. He is making no effort in getting it rented because he is "too busy." He has it listed at his old real estate office so that obviously is not going to do much. He also does not want it on Craigslist. He thinks Craigslist is shady, but I think lots of people would look for an apartment on there!! Any ideas of places I can try to get it rented? He put me in charge because I won't stop complaining. It has been empty far too long!
And in case anyone is interested ![]()
It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath with washer/dryer. Screened in porch in a gated community near Westshore Plaza. (Called Sienna Villas) Pool, fitness center, clubhouse, etc. Asking $900/month for rent. Dogs allowed under a certain weight limit. Approx. 900 square feet.
Probably impossible to sell at this point, but that is also an option!!
Re: Where to list a rental?
I think CL is a good option, I always look there when looking for rentals for myself or friends!
Also Hotpads...
Good luck, when you have a listing up of CL or wherever let us know I'll post it on my facebook/twitter etc. I know there are a few ppl moving back to Tampa right now, I'm constantly seeing status updates about moving looking for apartments etc.
I've used CL before to rent and highly recommend it. We also manage rental properties (4 homes) for our out-of-state BFFs and we use CL exclusively to list/find renters. In the last 10 renters, only 1 had to be evicted.
I know Facebook has a classifieds place, there's always the paper, and you could try finding a local place to hang signs/information.
Thanks!! I appreciate it
And thanks everyone for the tips - I am trying to get this thing rented ASAP!
