NER: What will everyone be doing tonight?
No fun plans here. Maybe we'll rent a scary movie and eat our Halloween candy. We didn't even have TOTers last year.
My costume never came together. I then had an idea to be a witch with a black dress I already have. I went to Target to find a hat and some striped stockings, but I have a giant head, so the hat didn't fit. DH nixed my cat idea because he said people would call me Crazy Cat Lady. He is probably right. No tie dye shirts were found.
I'm sad. I wish we could have an A06/E08 party!

Re: NER: What will everyone be doing tonight?
An A06/E08 Halloween party would be awesome. We'll make note of it for next year.
I'm going to alternately be a devil and a pumpkin (I have a knit devil and pumpkin hats - I can't find the cat one) and I'm handing out candy (neighborhood kids also get tiny playdoh). Darkness will be James Bond and Kali will be a chef. Mr. Liu sucks and won't dress up as anything.
DH is supposed to be picking up our peanutbutter rice crispy bats (his mom always makes them on Halloween) and a Jack-o-Lantern shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's. Other than that, we'll be catching up on all the tv we didn't watch during the week (Daily Show and CSI, mostly). Mr. Liu won't watch horror movies with me at night unless they were made before 1985. Too scary.
Working.
And worse--covering a game I'm pretty sure has the possibility to be a blowout. (ie, BORING!)
I really don't know... I kind of want to stay home and pass out candy, but I also kind of want to go out to this pub near my house for dinner. Maybe we'll do dinner later so we can do both.
I would totally go to the A06 party!
I am going out with some friends to a bar. I dressed up last weekend and don't feel like it today, so I'm not wearing a costume this evening.
my read shelf:
Going to a little Halloween party at a friends house.
We dont get any kids trick or treating at our apt. which always bums me out, but hopefully next year we will at least be renting a house and able to pass out candy. I love seeing kids in costumes!
We're going as 1930s mobsters, provided my slutty costume arrives in the mail today (grr).
I'm invited to 2 pre-parties, both in the same housing complex, but I'm not sure how far apart the apartments are (could be as much as 4 avenue blocks and 6 street blocks...)
If stopping by both isn't feasible in my skimpy outfit in cold nyc, I'll just go to the one with DH thrown by our friend's gf (the other is thrown by a few of my sorority sisters).
We might go out after to the fundraiser party for the free clinic associated with DH's school. I have no clue where that one is, though.
I'm going to an appt with my amazing osteopath where he hopefully will work magic on my back!
Then dinner with the in-laws.
