Looking to buy a new house?
I know that there are a few of you that are looking to a new house. The house right next door to us and the house right behind us are both for sale and I would like to pick my neighbors (
) so I am posting the listing here for you to take a look at.
Few things about our 'hood...We are 1/2 a block to Terrace Elementary School and 2 blocks from the Middle School. Hy-Vee is 2 blocks, Dahl's/Fareway are .5 mile, Post Office is 3 Blocks and we are right in the heart of Ankeny. We looked ALL. OVER. Des Moines, and ALL of the burbs. We looked for 2 years. Schools were at the top of the list and then we wanted the most for our $ in a nicer area (I am super picky), and we landed here in Ankeny. We have been here since Nov and LOVE it. DH was afraid that Ankeny was too far from everything and it's really not. My mom lives in WDM and I am over in that area at least 2 times a week. No big deal for us.

Couple of things about this one. Guy is divorced and READY TO GET OUT OF IT. He told DH that he was going to get aggressive in April...it's April! This one is not quiet as updated as ours and the garage is not attached and we got ours for a little bit more. I really think that there is some wiggle room here. He is a SUPER nice guy and we will be sorry to lose him as a neighbor.

These people are moving to a new build and the builder bought this house, they are moving in July.
