One of our best friends is getting married in May. Groom is DH's best friend, DH is the best man. Bride is a new friend of ours of a few years now. Groom is from GR, now living in FL. Bride is from TX, living in FL. I am invited to her shower in Texas and I won't be flying to TX to attend her shower. There's been talk of Groom's family throwing her a shower here in MI before the wedding, but I haven't heard anything concrete.
Here's my dilemma, what do I do about a gift? At this point, I am planning on just sending a card and give her a gift at the MI shower. However, if the MI shower doesn't happen I will feel bad about not sending a gift at all. WWYD?
Sorry if this is confusing, I have a crazy migraine today but need to get the card sent out ASAP.
Re: Shower gift help...
Choose a gift from the registry and have it sent to the address they have on file. Shower or not, they'll know you were thinking of them.

I think this is a good solution.
Otherwise, I would send something for the TX shower if you don't know for sure that there's going to be one in MI.
I would get something from her registry and ship it to the FL address, so she doesn't have to transport it back to FL from TX.
If you end up sending a gift and then getting invited to the MI shower you could do something small for the MI shower like cooking untesils and maybe some of your favorite recipes. Or if you know the groom has a favorite recipe or treat, you could include that in it.
