Since we're on the topic...who ate their wedding cake on their 1st anniversary and what did you think?
Re: Cake Question
Since we were a little... umm... delayed in having our anniversary cake, we at it the night I came home from the hospital with Sami. Even at a year and 3 days later, it was amazing.
ETA: And by "anniversary cake" I mean the top layer of our wedding cake...

Me too girl! I was about 5 monthes pregnant and one bite was one too many
so... we ate it on our first anniversary. And then we ate it a couple months later. And last week.
It's actually quite good. The lime curd filling turned really bitter, so we just avoid that and focus on the cake and the lemon and blood orange curds. Clint eats the frosting but I don't (even though it's my favorite frosting recipe)
We had it in a well-sealed tupperware container, so I'm sure that helped.
