Things to do around here? Any great restaurants to try?

Re: New to Ft.Worth

  • Welcome to the area!!!

In FW, lots of people like the Sundance Square area.  There are tons of restaurants down there.  The Arts District in Fort Worth is very nice and the Botanical Gardens are in that area as well.  I don't know exactly where it is but Joe T. Garcia's is in FW and people rave about there!!!  I've only been once and the food is very good.  If you like seafood, there's an awesome seafood restaurant in Sundance called Daddy Jack's.

If you're willing to give Dallas a try, there are some really great restaurants there too.

  • Welcome!  Try out the area off of 7th Street across from Montgomery Plaza.  There is a movie tavern, lots of great restaurants, a few bars and soon a Lucky Strike bowling alley!

It is near the museum district and Sundance Square.

There is also a cookie/ice cream sandwich place to die for called Sweet Sammies!
