I am proud of the home I have built with dh. Very often I look around and get so sad that I can't show my grandmother how all the hard work paid off.
I also am very proud of how responsible dh and I are, I look at two of my sisters (and other people for that matter) and see how irresponsible they are and live beyond their means. I am glad dh and I do not feel the need to keep up. I realize we still have work to do (on our budgeting and savings) with a few things but we are never in major CC debt and that makes me proud even if it seems small.
This is not small at all. The national average savings rate is in the negative. I am proud of hubby for being able to keep my spending in check while still spoiling me and making sure that we keep a balanced budget. Maybe we should give lessons to the legislature.
I'm proud of Jordan. He is so smart and loving.
I'm proud of myself for going back to school.
Welcome to the dark side
Thanks, sometimes the fact that we are still financing two cars and have the mortgage makes me feel like we haven't got the greatest handle of our debt. I can NOT wait until we are done with the cars next year.
Taking on a second car payment made us nervous too. We did go used the second time around. I now have a student loan too which is totally freaking Scott out. But I look at it like we're using the loans (car, student, mortgage) to pay for investments and things we need. Not European vacations or Prada.
Welcome to the dark side
I'm proud of the amazing little boy I'm raising. He may make me crazy some days, but he gives me that smile and my heart just melts. He has me wrapped around his little finger and he knows it.
I'm proud of Andrew who has done so much for our family over last few months to secure our futures.
I also need to agree with Pooks, I'm proud that we do not have any major CC debt. I can't wait to be done with one car payment next year too!

I'm proud of you ladies and your amazing accomplishments. I'm proud of myself for pushing my way through graduate school and all of the training I've gone through at work. I'm proud of my sis and bro-in-law for pushing through their rough times, which never seem to end. And I'm proud of my dad for being so strong through his radiation treatments.
I'm proud of myself for going back to school. It's not easy but I know that it's worth it in the end. Same thing about trying to lose wieght and get healthier. Not easy, but so important. I'm proud of both Drew and I for making some tough decisions now for the long-run. We're still having fun, we're just paying more attention.
