Pls share some of your best tips...

I don't know if it's the baby on the way, or what, but I am starting to feel as though my house has no real organization to it.  I want everything in my house to have a home, and it doesn't feel that way.  I attempted to have a system for things like mail to eliminate clutter, but I still feel as though things like clothes, shoes, purses, dishes, blankets, pots, pans, etc needs to be organized more.  What freaks me out more is the fact of knowing there is a lot more stuff on the way with the baby coming.  The stuff that we do have for the baby I want to make sure it remains organized as well.

What works in your household?  Any tips ? Any recommended websites ?

  • Great thanks!  I'll have to get some bins for our blankets and such to keep them out of the way.  I also do need to get rid of a lot of the junk mail that comes to the house! Ugh! What a pain.

    Thanks!

  • Pots and pans...this was my biggest problem when we moved into this house.  We had really deep cabinets in the kitchen.  My dad installed these for me and they are a wonderful addition to our home:

  • I am normally a crazy organizational freak, but when I was pregnant it was like times 100. lol  I can't offer much specific advice because I am constantly cleaning out closets and cabinets, decluttering, etc. I change everything way too much. lol

What I can say is, do one room at a time, work from top to bottom, and dont overdo it. And, get some Space Bag Totes (great for bedding and baby clothes)

In DD's room, I only kept out her current clothes size and put everything else in Space Bag Totes.  Outfits get hung in the closet, and everything else folded in drawers. I even put DD's shoes in a dresser drawer (it's nice while their size is small. lol)
