Yup, I sideswiped another car trying to parallel park in front of my office today. Not only did the car belong to a faculty member at the College, but to a member of my book club. Thank God she is the nicest person on the planet!
I do feel like a total idiot though. Now I have to decide whether to submit it to insurance or pay it out of pocket to avoid skyrocketing premiums. JOY!

I'm sorry you're going to be out money no matter which scenario you choose, but I'm a huge fan of not going through the insurance. In the long run, I find it works out better.
