of course, Brian likes "Molly" best, the name everyone says reminds them of a dog! ha!
Re: great. just great.
FWIW, I have a cousin named Molly. She is in high school, and never once do I think of a dog when I hear that name. Once you see a baby, whatever the name, any previous associations tend to get pushed to the wayside.
But, if it bothers you that people are thinking the name Molly is a dog's name, maybe you should keep working on your list. Perhaps both you and Brian could come up with a list, and swap. Each one will have the power to veto whatever names they want, no questions asked. There might be some surprise commonalities among the lists, too.
Good luck!
i agree with alicia, once the baby is molly then anybody or anything that was molly before wont matter. there are so many animal names that i know ppl with the same ones. i like molly, its super cute and i think it goes well with cassidy.
My neice is named Molly and I love it. I have never thought of it as a dog's name! Maybe it's from all my years teaching that I'm immune to that stuff...I try very hard to not associate a name to one type of person (or animal!) Ironically, when I was little we had a dog named Cassidy. I LOVE the name and when I see pics of your beautiful little girl I NEVER think of my dog!
