Help me find a venue for...
My DH's graduation party!
This August I'm looking to throw a BIG party to celebrate DH's Master's degree, and I need help finding a location. I'm open to ideas-- the only "must" is that if it's an outdoor venue, we have to have access to AC.
Any suggestions?
TIA
Re: Help me find a venue for...
Not sure on the people, but it could be a good size (more than 40?) East side would be best, but that's not a requirement.
Thoughts?

This may help...
I threw a party for my parents a few years ago and rented the Lemming house. It's part of the miami township parks and it was perfect. We had about 80 people there and it was plenty big enough. There was outdoor space as well with a big deck around the back and a small play area for kids. It has a kitchen also which was awesome for storing and prep of food.
You can look at local hotels, most of them have meeting rooms that you can rent and turn in to a party room. There is also the anderson township civic center on 5-mile that I believe rents an area out. I don't know if this place is still up and running, but I've been to a party at a place called hilltop on 125 near Amelia and they have both indoor and outdoor space.

HTH!
I loved this idea too, but Lakeside Lodge doesn't have AC and Riverside Lodge (in Loveland) is booked the days I'd want it
Closed. He bulldozed his house in an effort to avoid the bank taking it after he failed to pay taxes for his carpet business and Hilltop. In the end, they closed the businesses. LOL
I remember the house bulldozing, that's why I said I wasn't sure if it was still open or not. My H knows his daughter and her husband through friends and what not and H's best friend was actually booked to have their wedding there a month or so after the bulldozing incident. They ended up just going to Gatlinburg and getting married for other reasons, but I know for a while Hilltop was still open. That guy cracks me up. Only a SERIOUS nut job would do that, but I gotta give him credit, that was awesome!
Hi Jen!
I don't really have any ideas, but I just wanted to say hi.
Hope to see you soon!

P.S. Way to go for your hubs getting his masters!!!
