Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Mary

In case you were just dying to know, Cooper has urine crystals and very basic urine.  The vet didn't really call it an infection but said his urine needs to be much more acidic.  They gave us prescription food to feed him for a month and see if that helps. It's Science Diet, which I hate, but we'll give it a try anyway.

I feel bad though now, they said he was peeing in the house as a way to get our attention and say "It hurts when I pee, help me."   Though really, he could've peed on, say, the wood floors to tell us that, instead of the frieze carpet that soaks up pee like a sponge.

Re: Mary

  • Aw, poor Cooper.  Glad that the diet will hopefully help.  Healthy puppy vibes, and glad it isn't a behavioral issue!
