I am severely fashion challenged. Jeans, t shirt, sneakers or flip flops...that's what I wear. So here's my question. I have these 2 dresses:

They are short (well, they aren't maxi dresses, but they still hit me below the knees or mid-calf because I am only 5'2"). Normally I would wear one of these with flip flops and call it a day. But since the weather is so crazy lately and it's still cold sometimes, can I wear these with leggings? I'm normally against leggings, but maybe it would be cute? And if so, what color (black?) and then what kind of shoes? TIA!!

Re: Fashion help please!
I can't see your pictures but wanted to respond because I have something similiar on today (dress and leggings).
I have this dress on (sorry I don't know how to make a clicky) http://www.target.com/Mossimo-Supply-Co-Juniors-Kimono/dp/B0046RVL42/ref=br_1_4?ie=UTF8&id=Mossimo%20Supply%20Co%20Juniors%20Kimono&node=2223112011&searchSize=90&searchView=grid3&searchPage=1&sr=1-4&qid=1302021894&rh=&searchBinNameList=style_name%2Csleeve_type%2Ccollar_style-bin%2Clifestyle-bin%2Ctarget_com_size-bin%2Ctarget_com_primary_color-bin%2Cprice%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin&searchRank=salesrank&frombrowse=1
in gray with black leggings. I'm wearing a pair of black flats with it. I'm curious to see if this is a big fashion no-no. I'm thinking we might get a free pass because we are pregnant--at least I hope we do
I wouldn't wear leggings.
Just some cute ballet flats and maybe a cardigan and I think it'll be cute.
FWIW, I wore leggings all the time when I was pregnant with DS. I say you get a pass!
Just try it on and take a good look at yourself in front of a mirror. If you don't think it looks ridiculous, then go for it.
I just saw my sister sporting Leg Warmers (a la 1980's) the other day, so I don't think leggings are too big a stretch.
However, if you are interested at Destination Maternity in Towson Town they have Maternity Tights. When I was pregnant they had lots of colors and they were $7 each. I got black, heather grey and lavendar.
1. pregnant ladies get to wear whatever they want.
2. huge dittos on the mirror thing as a general rule.
looking at those pictures I'd say that the dress on the left would work better with leggings than the one on the right - the extra ruffle on the bottom of the one on the right makes it seem less legging friendly to me. And I'd stick with black or gray. But I'm boring.
My Goodness...another food blog. Featuring: Macarons from a old post with a photo taken by my mom for a break from my crappy food photos!

Old Navy. I bought 90% of my pre-pregnancy clothes there and I didn't stop when I got pregnant! It's mail only which kind of sucks, but I do most of my shopping online anyway, so it works for me. I recommend getting some of their basic tanks - they're really long and I wore them under my non-maternity shirts early on when those shirts were getting too short! Their maternity clothes sometimes run a bit larger than their normal clothes.

If you sign up for their mailing list (maternity) you get coupons every day. I got a majority of my stuff there too! There and the Gap...Kohls has some stuff too-just not a huge selection but I always found something there.
Flip flops and leggings is a no, but if you pair it with ballet flats that would be a go
Otherwise tights and ballet flats like the other ladies suggested. GL
