I know once you're married, your dating anniversaries aren't the same celebration they used to be. DH and I will be married 3 years this year but we've been together for the past 6 years. I want to do something for him today and I thought about even making his favorite dinner -- but it's chicken parm and I can't be in the same room as chicken during this pregnancy. Of course, we can't even go out tonight because I signed us up to take our Baptism class before Baby H gets here. Do you think putting away the presents from the baby shower and doing laundry counts as romance? lol.

Re: Anniversary ideas?
You are so smart, lol! This is why I come to you girls for help... I miss some of the obvious!
i was going to suggest take out - he can have his chicken parm and you can get something else. it's a nice meal, in the comfort of your home!
maybe a special dessert is all that's needed!
I too was just going to suggest getting some chicken parm from a pizza place and you can get something else.
Also eff that about not celebrating... celebrate if you want and who cares! We've been married 2 1/2 years but next month we've been together for 12 years so I am sure as fuc.k celebrating. It is 12 effing years! and next year 13, then 14...15... haha
Haha, love it!
12 years... that's awesome. Before DH, my longest relationships varied between 4 months - 1 year. I got bored easily! It's the real thing when I want to annoy the same person for the rest of my life
DH and I will be 11 yrs in August, he says no more celebrating the dating anniversary since we are married no, BOOO
Shoot, I make it a point to bring up our half year dating anniversary. It will be 11.5 years on May 1. We won't do anything but I will wish him a happy anniversary.
