results of my top secret experiment...
Over the weekend I had some crazy CVS coupons, ECB's and manufacturer coupons, and got a Swiffer Wet Jet for free. I purposely left it in the box and didn't clean the floors while DH was OOT.
He got back at 2am on Monday morning, and had the rest of the day off. Now when his parents swapped out carpet for wood laminate, he'd always Swiffer the floors when he was there. DH doesn't dislike cleaning, but never does it for the hell of it either.
I get home from work yesterday, and sure enough the Swiffer has been open, used, and all the tile floor in our house is super clean.
Why did I wait 3 1/2 years into our marriage to get one?! He also cut out the coupons to get more pad refills to clean it and he showed me where he was storing it. Like - he put something AWAY in it's correct place after using it! Holy hell!

Ever since we got a Dyson, DH vacuums without being asked.
JJ does the same with our Dyson Animal. I think it's fun for him to see how much dog hair he can collect. It's awesome because I don't like doing the floors and those are his favorites.
My Dh is the same way since we got our Dyson! Now, if I could only get him to load/unload the dishwasher without asking a bazillion times I would be a happy lady!
