I bought something on eBay and for some reason it used my old address for shipping! I should have checked it but I have ordered other things since I moved and it has never shipped to the old address. Does anyone know what I should do? Should I just go over to my old apartment and see if the girl has it? SO FRUSTRATING!!!

Yeah, depending when it shipped, you may be able to call the carrier and ask them to return to sender, and have them reship (although they will probably charge you shipping again).
Or perhaps the carrier can try to intercept the package and deliver to your address instead?
If you have a tracking number, I'd definitely try that!

I agree with PP - call the carrier.
In addition, did you set up mail forwarding with USPS? If not I would def set it up now - you can use it on their website. That way anything that gets mailed there in your name will be forwarded. Don't forget to set up forwarding for your maiden name and your married name if you changed it so that mail in either name will be forwarded.

Oh, that sucks. I had the same thing happen to me - I bought a dvd for a Christmas present from Best Buy and still had the address from 2 apartments before set as the default. I called USPS, and they told me there was nothing I could do, because I wasn't the shipper. Even though I'd ordered it. And apparently, whoever is living in my old apartment decided to keep it for themselves, because it never got returned to sender.
If it doesn't show up, try filing a claim. Maybe you can get your money back, at least.
I had a nightmare last night about ebay, I had a dream that someone hacked my paypal account and I had over 20 charges on my CC.
I would assume that if you have a forward then it would count for anything shipped USPS. I would try to contact your old landlord.
Yikes! Maybe you had this dream because of the security breach with the company that does direct emailing for what seems like everyone (Epsilon, I think?).

OMG I didn't even know about that...now I am paranoid!! I checked my account and not charges but I will keep an eye on it. I am so paranoid about someone hacking my checking account because I see it at work every.single.day!
It was just email addresses, though (at least allegedly), so it shouldn't be an issue. I must have gotten 3 or 4 emails from credit cards/mailing lists that I'm on letting me know about the breach.
Sorry! Didn't mean to scare you! All they reportedly got were email addresses and names. Here is the story:

And, yeah, I'm totally paranoid about the same thing!
Megan & Chris
Yeah, I've gotten three or four as well. What's funny is that no one else I know has.
Basically, you just need to use common sense and not give your social security number, account number, etc., to someone who emails you asking for it.
Megan & Chris
As for the USPS forwarding, they should've forwarded a package too, so if they didn't, that's on them. I'd call and find out exactly where it went through them and if they didn't do the forward, give them holy hell.
As for the Epsilon thing, I've gotten like 10 emails now, and it seems like almost every credit card I own uses them. I've gotten this HUGE influx of spam since it happened, I'm pissed.
I work at Citi Mortgage and we had to have a meeting about this and learn about email safety...really?!? You give us access to thousands of social security numbers, mortgage payments, bank accounts, etc, but you don't trust us to secure out emails? lol
