Hey, how are you feeling? Are you glad to be done with work? Would you prefer to have a little extra time at home before baby, or are you at that point that you just want it to be over?
Sorry, lots of questions.
Re: SusieQ
LOL...
I'm feeling pretty good - mostly just tired a lot of the time. My joints have started swelling so that's kind of uncomfortable, but luckily I'm 'all baby' and I only gained about 10-15 lbs (doc's recommendation) so I'm not carrying around a ton of extra weight.
So glad to be done with work. I have an hour commute each way, so that plus traffic plus the discomfort/pain/numbness in my hands & fingers were starting to make me feel really unsafe on the highway. (Plus I got to take a nap at 11 am yesterday - can't get away with that at my desk
)
I have some things I want to get done before the baby comes - cooking some extra meals, a few boxes that need to be unpacked, oddball projects that I just haven't had the time/energy to do over the last few months. But, yes, I am tired of being KU - I'm ready for the little man to get here!! (And his daddy is very ready to meet him too!)
How are you feeling so far? I promise it will go faster than you can imagine.
That's great! I'm hoping to not gain too much weight, either. I'm so short that there's just no place for anything extra to go. I've seriously had dreams that I get too big to squeeze my bump behind the steering wheel. Maybe I just want to not have to work?? Lol.
I think I speak for the board when I say how excited we all are for you to meet your little guy. It seems like good timing, that you're not super pg during the summer, which would stink.
I'm feeling good, but starting to get nauseous. MH asked me last night 'how early' is morning sickness, and I thought he meant in the pregnancy. Then he clarified, what, like 5, 6 am? Lol, hubs. He was shocked when I said it could be any time of the day.
This made me laugh. K has had no clue about a lot of things too. It's kind of cute. I found that ginger ale and dry cheerios kept my nausea to a minimum (and no actual sickness - hopefully the same for you!)
