Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Help with Outlook setup
I have Outlook on my home computer and I'm trying to set it up to access mail from a yahoo account but it's not working. is this possible without me upgrading to the pay version of yahoo mail?
I tried going to Tools -->email accounts--> add a new email account
then i'm stuck - is this pop3, http etc for server type?? (microsoft exchange, imap, or additional server type are my other options) http is the one that mentions Hotmail, so i assumed it was the one for yahoo but i can't get it to work.

No because that one required even more server info (incoming, POP3 and outgoing, SMTP) haha. i have a feeling i probably have to spring for the yahoo upgrade to get that info.
you probably don't have to pay for it just to find out that info - do you want me to help?
Way back when, Yahoo made you pay for access via Outlook. I don't know if they've changed this, it's been years since I paid for it.
here is the code for the Yahoo Plus accounts. It might work for you:
Incoming mail server (pop3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing mail server (SMPT) : plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
okay, going back to being a nerd now.
