might get a new couch....

BUT I am undecided. See, we have a three seat couch that needs to be replaced. THe two end places havce foot rests that pop up, and we both use it a LOT. The couch we are interested in is an L shape, I already "claimed" the corner. lol. But DH would have to use the leather ottoman we plan on getting. This is obviously very different comfort wise. Has anyone made a transition like this? I don't want to buy a couch then be unhappy with it....they arent cheap!

Re: might get a new couch....

  • This is similar to the couch that we got last year, though ours isn't as large (we only have 2 seats on each side of the center piece...this one shows 3 on one side and two on the other)

The seats on each end are recliners.  We like it a lot...the only thing that I don't like about it is that since we're both on an end of the couch to put our feet up, we rarely sit next right next to each other anymore when we're watching tv.

  • I haven't made this exact transition but we used to have a recliner chair. It broke and I had to settle for a wing back chair and footstool. It's definitely not the same level of comfort. Now I sit on a love seat with a footstool. Also not the same. These have all been hand me downs though. I have never actually bought a new couch. GL with your purchase!

I was going to say, there are sectionals out there with built in recliners. Plus some couches come with matching big ottomans. Can you tell I'm also couch shopping?
