I need to get a large cupcake mold for G's smash cake. Anyone know where to get one?
Also-who's made one? Any tricks I should know about?

Re: Large Cupcake Mold
we have the big metal wilton one that you are welcome to borrow. i plan to use it for ingrid's party, which is going to be jjune 4th, we'd have time to get it back i assume
I'd love to borrow it. Plus, I need to get you the nail polish. We'd need it for May 20th for G's pictures then I could get it right back to you. Any tricks on making it work, or is it pretty easy?
It isn't too hard, I am not a great baker. I remember looking for some tips from the hundreds of amazon comments. Some people cooked the 2 ends separately and put water in the other end to make sure they were even, but I am far too impatient for that. I took the tip to start baking the bottom 1/2 first b/c it is more dense. I will try to refind that tip b/c it ended up coming out just fine. I think I cooked it for like 10 minutes longer than the top 1/2? It isn't the easiest thing to frost and look pretty, but I have no doubt you'll do a great job b/c you are so crafty. I think that piping on the top 1/2 frosting would be the best (but I didn't do that and it still looked ok).
Cake mix is pretty cheap, if you want to get together soon you can have it right away to practice on if you want. We do plan on story time tomorrow again at the library, otherwise I can have adam bring it to work next monday at beaverdale and you could swing by there to pick it up if that is easier.
