Holy moly, Rebekah, you're pregnant? How did I not see that earlier??? That is so so awesome!! I'm so excited for you! How are you feeling?
Re: *Pokey!!!!*
You didn't see it earlier because I just snuck it in there late last night! LOL!
I have been having another rough one, but I couldn't just lay there for three months like I did last time. With LittleP I started the Zofran after 15 weeks because the nausea and vomitting never ended. This time the doctor and I decided to give it to me at week 8 when we realized it was just as bad and I had a three year old at home this time to deal with!
All the usual first tri complaints. Exhaustion, puke, nausea, exhaustion, headaches, exhaustion, etc.
Oh yikes, that doesn't sound like fun at all, especially with a 3-year-old added to the mix! I'm glad your dr. is doing something about it though, hope it's helping!! Hang in there!
That's actually one of my biggest fears when we'll be trying for a second one, the really horrible pregnancy. Sasha's was so easy that I feel like I'm bound to have a difficult pregnancy next time around, lol.
Are you guys going to find out what you're having?
Bubblegum Explosion
Luckily CJ has been pretty good so far. Somehow he even started napping again after being on strike. And I am totally going to find out what we are having!! Sometime in Mid-April I will have a team announcement!
Wanna hear the whole pity party?
I also have two ovarian cysts, one about the size of a grapefruit that need to be removed at week 16. And the surgery is the old fashioned, cut you open type. They are too big for laproscopic. So I will be in the hospital for 2-3 days and then have a c-section style recovery while pregnant and with a 3 year old at home. And then in late Sept/early Oct I get to have a for real repeat c-section. And also at some point I will have an amnio because I am over 36, almost to 37 already and that means my uterus is old or something.
So far this pregnancy just sucks big hairy monkey balls. Except for the part where I am having a baby and the baby looks healthy and is doing really well. But it has been kind of hard to focus on the baby part.
I'm sorry it's so rough! The cysts part sounds scary, but as long as they're able to get them out safely, you should be fine. As for recovery? Have your DH stay home to help out. But yeah, I feel for ya. And yay for baby looking good at healthy!!
Do you have a preference one way or the other on the gender?
Bubblegum Explosion
Thanks everybody!!
I am pulling for boy #2, but CJ actually wants a little sister.
I just hope New Baby P has a good personality, because with CJ around, the kids will need it!
