I was pulling on her pj's and she clamped right down on my shoulder and broke skin- I screamed because it hurt like hell and scared the bejesus out of her!! I know she didn't mean it, but man!! I hope this is a one time occurrence and I don't have to worry about her starting to bite. I know she's getting more teeth, chewing on her clothes, etc

And, yes, she got lots of hugs and cuddles..I felt so bad!! she teared up immediately..the big alligator tears....

Ouch!!

I got bit on the shoulder once, and I got bit on the hand just a few weeks ago. The hand bite broke skin, didn't really hurt - but it made my shoulder tingle with memory when it happened. My shoulder is tingling now thinking about you.

Ouch! And poor Abby! Caroline bit my knee a few weeks back while I was on the computer. Luckily, she still only has her two bottom teeth. I feel so bad when you react to something so natural, but freak them out in the process!

Ben bit my backside recently totally out of the blue and it hurt like heck! Unfortunately I had changed into my pj pants so it was much worse than if I had been wearing jeans which would have offered some protection. He thought it was funny until he saw how hurt I was. I wanted to cry it hurt so bad. It was a one time occurrence. He's never been a biter so it was weird.

Hmmm... I've been bitten. On the boob, on the hand, on the shoulder. He has 7 teeth and seems to like to remind me. Now, I've only been bitten those places once or twice, and when I tell him no he either looks at me and laughs, OR bursts into tears. I think it's more of an experiment of how to use them, and I'm sincerely hoping it goes away over time. Otherwise I'm terrified to be THAT parent in the sandbox (anyone see that Modern Family?)

Luke went through a phase of biting. It hurt like hell and I found myself recoiling if he went to kiss me for fear of biting.

I'll tell you it was a very short lived phase, thankfully, but it was painful. I don't remember what I did when he did it, but he luckily got the message and like I said, it didn't last long.

I am so not looking forward to this. Zach is currently chewing on everything in site. He has 6 teeth already and when I was holding him the other day he bit my boob. It hurt. I am hoping that this is not a sign of things to come.

maybe it's good your natural reaction scared her? then she'll be too scared to do it again. poor abby with those teeth. i can't imagine cutting a full mouth of teeth like our poor babies.
