what tv shows do you watch?
What do you ladies watch on tv?
I was realizing the other day that I watch such junk tv. From teen mom two to 19 kids and counting..its all horrible yet so good. I just saw a commercial for the coupon show on tlc and totally can't wait to watch.....seriously I think I need an intervention :-)
Eta: typing too fast and missed a word in the title of post...sorry
Re: what tv shows do you watch?
Intervention, Modern Family, The Office, Teen Mom
I get Big Love on Netflix, as well as True Blood and will start on The L Word soon.
I watch Animal Cops now and then as well.
I watch an embarrassing amount of TV.
The Good Wife
NCIS LA
Glee
Top Chef
Fringe
Grey's Anatomy
Private Practice
Brothers and Sisters
Desperate Housewives
American Idol (but only every once in a while)
A lot of the things we watch aren't on the traditional season schedule, so we end up watching reruns of The Office or South Park when they aren't on. But in terms of can't miss:
Dexter
Mad Men (I'm so annoyed it won't be back til next year, bast&rds!)
True Blood
United States of Tara
Parks & Recreation
30 Rock
The Office
Jersey Shore (unfortunately, though this last season was so bad, I may be over it)
The Soup
SNL (still, though most of the time I don't know why, because I FFd so much)
I'm looking forward to getting into The Borgias, because I love that crap. And I am intrigued by The Killing, on AMC. My husband loves The Walking Dead, but I just couldn't get into it. We started watching Breaking Bad on dvd, and we're hoping to catch up on Boardwalk Empire, because it kind of fell off our radar. I'm also trying to get him to watch Twin Peaks with me, but he's being resistant. I guess it's payback for me not liking The Wire, heh.
Big Love and Mad Men are my favorites.
Plus I watch a ton of junk-junk like Teen Mom, Bad Girls Club, Jersey Shore, and Gossip Girl....oh and Real Housewives.
I watch WAY too much television. I will put you all to shame:
Grey's Anatomy
Private Practice
Off The Map
Dexter
US of Tara
The Big C
Weeds
Californication
True Blood
Sister Wives
Teen Mom1/2/16&Preg
Parks & Rec
30 Rock
Modern Family
Secret Life of the American Teenager
Glee
Law and Order SVU
Community
The Middle
Better with You
The Bachelor
Shameless
In my own defense... None of these run year round. And I actually just typed my DVR list. I swear I don't just watch TV all the time. But DH travels every other week, so my weeknights usually have a couple hours of tv in them.
There are quite a few!
House
American Pickers
Glee
Traffic Light
Park & Rec
The Office
The Mentalist
Grey's Anatomy
House Hunters
Curb Appeal: The Block
The Event
I like watching lots of stuff on the Food Network too.
For "regular" shows I watch:
HIMYM, Castle, Modern Family, BBT
Reality TV (I don't always watch every single episode in entirety):
DWTS, AI, Bachelor
TLC Shows (that I don't always catch):
19 Kids and Counting, Sister Wives, Say Yes to the Dress (i know i know), DC Cupcakes
Food Network Shows:
Chopped, Cupcakes Wars, Next Iron Chef, Worst Cooks
Junk (don't always watch):
Teem Mom/16 & Pregnant
I watched the first episode of The Borgais, and I think it's going to be good. We also missed Boardwalk Empire and hope to eventually catch up with it.
Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, Parenthood, Modern Family, V, The Middle, Real Housewives (OC/ NYC/ DC & BH- not Miami, Atlanta or NJ), Teen Mom... I'm sure there are more!
Good lord, I thought I watched too much LOL!
I forgot Bachelor!
I tried watching Cupcake Wars last night but it made me crave sugar too much so I turned it off.
I also like those house shows like Moving Up and House Hunters, though I think 99% of the people on those shows are total douchebags.
Big Love - but it's over

**I love TV and listen to it when cleaning, doing homework, catering to the furbabies, etc**
Mad Men
Parenthood
Modern Family
Cougartown
Parks & Rec
The Office
30 Rock
Teen Mom
Secret Life of the American Teenager (although I usually don't admit to that IRL, lol)
All time faves that are now over:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Veronica Mars
Friday Night Lights
Greys
Two and 1/2 Men
Teen Mom

Pretty Little Liars
Glee
True Blood
Teen mom
16 and pregnant
Intervention
Celebrity Rehab (Love Dr. Drew!)
I'm sure I'm forgetting some but I'm sick and thats all I can think of lol
Gosh, I think I need a TV guide to help me with this one.
Shows that me and the hubby watch together:
How I met your mother
Big Bang Theory
Bones
Fringe
Castle
House (although we haven't this season)
Family Guy
Simpsons
Cleveland Show
American Dad
Mythbusters
America's Got Talent
Wipeout (so silly, but it cracks us up)
It takes some prodding to get DH to watch new shows, but so far:
Mr. Sunshine
Raising Hope
Mad Love
Shows I have to watch when he's not around (which is rare):
Glee
DC Cupcakes....on a side note, we had some of their cupcakes in our office yesterday, made my week!!
House Hunters.....I like to see different areas, for potential places to move too.
Cougar Town
What not to wear
American Idol
I forgot about Raising Hope - so, so funny. I don't know where they found that baby, but she is adorable. And so expressive!
And Mr. Sunshine has the best theme song on tv right now (though the full version of the Raising Hope theme cracks me up.)
