Grrr. Boss is sick. I feel sick.

Boss stayed home from work today and is not working. Sent email to everyone saying for all escalations, contact me.

And I feel like garbage - I thought I was fine getting ready and now I am thinking my allergies are not allergies after all.

Can I send a follow up email around noon saying "For all escalations, contact the other product managers x,y,z?"

ugh...My throatis scratchy and a little sore, my nose is congested, and I have a pressureheadache.

Someone?skid in the office had strep, and she?s been here like ALL THE TIME coughing.Boss is sick, like 3-4 other women I work with are all sick.

  • Yes, you're allowed to be sick and get the hell out of there. NOT COOL that someone brought a sick kid to the office (or her sick self, I'm not clear on that since I'm only a few sips into my coffee). Not cool in general, but especially not cool with a pregnant lady in the vicinity.
  • I have the same cold- UGH! I say get the hell out of there if you think you can swing it. Feel better lady!

Larissa, that's exactly what I was thinking!  I just started my coffee!

What do you do if you get strep while pregnant?  Can you take antibiotics?  I had strep a few years ago, and I swear it was the most painful thing I have ever dealt with.  I never want to go through that again.

And yes, Jax, you should go home.
