Our visit to St. Pete
Thanks for all the recommendations on places to eat. I hate to say we didn't go to any of them :-/. We ended up going to The Columbia in Ybor City. We LOVE that place and don't get to eat there often. Plus after the news we got we needed it.
Alana will have to have surgery ASAP to remove her thyroglossal duct cyst. The incidence of infection is quite high and the procedure becomes much more difficult once it becomes infected. Due to her cardiac problems all the docs in Ft Myers want her to be taken care of at All Children's. We really liked the doc we saw too so that helps a lot.
If you have some thoughts and prayers we could definitely use them. Definitely not something you want to think about for your baby. We don't have a surgery date until she's cleared through her cardiologist, but that should be happening soon.
