Now I'm sad that the vendor post is gone.
Even though I reported it. I wanted to be amused by it a little longer.

Re: Now I'm sad that the vendor post is gone.
I was shocked how fast it was gone.
I was just shocked she came over here a few hours after I outed her on the bump
I'm insulted that vendors think we're dumb enough to fall for their shenanigans. If anything, posts like hers make me want to run out and order from Coborns instead of her new delivery business. That is probably opposite of what she would want to have happen!
I can appreciate that starting a new business is hard and advertising everywhere is the goal....but ya gotta follow the rules vendors!!!!
Did it get juicy? I saw it when only a couple people had responded that they reported her.
my read shelf:
It's not even new... I'm pretty sure it's been around for several years (I think even before Coburn's bought out Simon's). I remembering getting emails about it at the University. It could be under new ownership though, I don't know. I've never used it. I looked into it once, several years back, and I do think it had cheaper delivery rates than Simon's/Coburns, but either the selection wasn't great or.. something... whatever it was, I wasn't motivated enough to make the switch.
And yeah, totally agree that breaking vendor posting rules does nothing good for your business.
What got juicy was that she was clearly (angrily) denying she was a vendor on TB post. Here BeccaMarie (I think?) did some detective work and found out through the Secretary of State website and facebook that she is definitely married to the owner. (Her screen name was her first initial, last name.)
I think that it was such a crappy thing to do to #1 come on here pretending you are just a mom looking out for other moms and then #2 flat out deny it when you are being called out for being a fakey fake vendor instead of just DDing the post.
Anyway, not that exciting but i was super amused.

I love sneaky internet sleuthing like that!!!
Naughty naughty vendor!!
Well, it wasn't me!
Kiz - I love your theory of patronizing the opposite vendor than one that advertises here... that's pretty hilarious! I like it
