The first 10 minutes of the news was spent on 4 violent crimes Today/Yesterday in our area.
Then a meth lab was discovered
1. Man was stabbed after chasing two theives through his backyard.
2. Two teens broke into someone's home and pulled a knife.
3. Woman charged with Stabbing her sister.
4. Death in Bar Fight
I just cant wait to move, like I literally am thinking about working at McDonalds so I can move.

Re: I am so SICK of this!
Ditto. Living in NY my whole life, the news just gets so depressing. Some may call my lack of "interest" self-centered, but I feel as though it's self-preservation.
yeah i don't watch the news for this reason. even if you live in a nice area they are going to be reporting on the bad area's crime. but at least if you move maybe it won't feel so close!
Yep, agreed. I live in a nice area and the news always had the bad stuff. Probably not as much bad stuff as when I lived in other cities, but it's still there in every city.
it's everywhere - and it sucks.
feel your pain...

My Bio
It is everywhere. Try living in New Orleans haha and now I live in the burbs of Baton Rouge and many folks relocated to here after Katrina so everynight its multiple murders on the news.
