For AZ tonight! I'm going home for a few days to visit my family. It'll just be me and the Mini bump. E is staying home. I'm really looking forward to some quality time with my mom : ) However, the weather is NOT cooperating. It's only supposed to be in the 60's on Friday and Saturday. WTF?
In other Mini news- We find out 3 weeks from today if it's a he or a she!!! I can't believe it's right around the corner. We saw my OB on Monday and she was like "Do you want to come in 3 weeks or 4?" H just looked at me and said "She is waaay too impatient to wait an extra week." Here's hoping Mini is not a modest baby.
And a final random update- They are pushing back the start date of the new show. We were supposed to kick off on April 18th, but the cabinets for the kitchen set were delayed. I am so happy I could break out into celebration Glee-style. I feel like they've been rushing this and I am so not prepared. Hopefully this will give me a little breathing room to get things under control.
If you guys have any good ideas for segments, let me know! It's going to be a lifestyle show geared towards women. Kind of like the Today show but in the afternoon. What kind of stuff would you want to see?
Re: Leaving on a jet plane...
All exciting news! Have fun in AZ! I can't wait to find out what Mini will be.
I don't have any ideas now but let me think about it and I will get back to you if anything comes to me!
I think you should talk about bra's because every woman wears one or should and when you find the right one, they can change your life, lol!
I also think you could do a segment on infertility because it seems like it is such a "hush hush" thing until you're in it and dealing with it then it seems like everyone has a story.
PCOS and Endo
Ovarian drilling and endo removed 1/3/12
BFP - 3/27/12
Beta's 11, 14, 57, 637, 2800
Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.
Ooh another thing that our NBC affiliate does is the 5 o clock anchors do "workout of the week" and go to a different spot around town to do a different workout...they spotlight different places and programs. Go here:

I can't believe you're this close to finding out what you're having!
How about a "Dear Meg" spot where women can write in with their questions and you can answer based on research, or have a professional (like a doctor or a therapist) on to answer the question?
The Sand in My Snow Boots
A cooking segment - maybe once a week - would be fun, too.
Have a safe trip!!
Oh yes, this! Tasty stuff that's easy and quick to eat for working moms!
The Sand in My Snow Boots
Have fun in AZ, hope the weather turns out nice for you.
Can't believe you're so close to finding out team pink or blue.
What about a mini makeover for the house, easy tips for the bedroom or living room to spruce things up without a lot of money, maybe a few accessories or other things.
Planning and Married Bio
My Randomness Blog!!
Oh great ideas!
Love the decorating, mini makeover idea Vikki had...and I think within that segment you could include easy holiday decorating ideas as well.
Have fun on your trip!
Have fun with your mom!!
Cooking segment, maybe a segment on communicating w/ your partner, definitely decorating in your home- e.g. make the most of your space type of thing....bargain shopping tips and tricks.
If you give us some of the topic ideas you already have, perhaps we could build off of that.
I love to brainstorm.
I'm so excited for your show!
