How to get the shine back in my hardoowd floor after dog went poop on it?

This is probably a little gross, by my dog was apparently sick, and didn't make it outside to go #2, instead she did it on my wood floors, and the spot that I cleaned, is now dull, almost like it I took a layer of something off.  I wiped the mess up ,and then just used what I would normally use to clean the floor, so I am thinking it had to be the dog mess that stripped the wood?

Any products out there that will put the shine back?

 Thanks!

  • Thats terrible. I had my kitchen floor re done by a professional, if you find a good one they should offer several different options. If you want to do it yourself, I would try asking at a local hardware store to see what they recommend. Good Luck, I hope this helps you.

  • I would try something relatively inexpensive like Murphy's oil soap or something along those lines.  If that doesn't work (or you've already tried it) then I would def ask someone at a hardware store to see if they can help.  I'm sure there is something out you can use that would work.  GL!
