I was on the springhill regional website looking for something and I found this baby nursery. They have pictures of all the babies that have been born.
Is that strange? Do the parents have to sign a consent? Lila is there.. Chelsea, did you sign a consent for that?
Re: Is this weird to you?
Baby Macy is here!
12/09 - Macy (daughter) | 4/10 - Began TTC Baby #2 | 12/10 - Chemical Pregnancy | 1/12 - Miscarriage at 14 weeks | DX - PCOS & Hyperthyroidism
Are the babies names listed? If so I would hope they had consent.
I would be ok with my childs picture being posted but not with the name. I know the pedi and OB/GYN offices i go to have pictures of babies up on the walls down the hallway

Ok, thats not so bad. You sign to have the photos taken and that is just an easy way for people to find them I guess. It takes you to the Our365 Website where you purchase the photos.
Lilas photos are HORRIBLE. They look nothing like her and the minimum photo purchase is almost $50. MH even took photos of her before she went to get her photo taken and they look like Lila and nothing like what the hospital ended up with. We chose not to buy them
I am soo upset about it. Jason did a fantastic job and the photos were taken 2 days after we left the hospital, so we will just use those as her "hospital photo".

Ohh lord now I feel old... but.. didn't newspapers use to print pictures or at least name so and so had a baby at such and such place and time? I think it's teh same thing just upgraded for today's times.
most ppl love to show off their baby, but I can see how some ppl would not.

Yes, they still do this..but that is the parents sending in all the information to the paper..

back in the day the hospital did it for the parents, I am sure you had to sign something ( I can't remember my baby is 20 yrs old!) I dont have a new paperclipping of him, but he was sick and in the "sick nursery" so I think we got different treatment
