Happy Monday! How was your weekend?
Do anything fun? Anything NOT fun?

Re: Happy Monday poll
Weekend was pretty good! We went out for fish fry on Friday night (I normally don't eat seafood/fish, but I had the strongest craving for fried shrimp!). Saturday, we went to see my nieces and then just bummed around. On Sunday, we took MIL bowling. It was a pretty fun weekend.
The only thing not so fun is that I couldn't fall asleep last night. I watched The Killing on AMC and I ended up not being able to fall asleep until midnight. I had to be up at 4:45 this morning to get ready for work. I'm already struggling to stay awake.
I'm in the middle of re-reading Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card. I love the Ender series!
I'm also going to start Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand today. It'll be my first time reading it, so we'll see how it goes.
The weekend was good, much needed downtime after a work week from HELL.
We went to Madame Tussaud's with my MIL and just had a nice time in the city, which is always fun.
On Sunday, H and I went out for a run and while I am a slower runner than him, I lost him. Hehe. That secretly makes me happy, but it's only really because I have been training more than him. We both agreed that in an all out sprint race, he would beat me hands down.
Right now I am reading "Cutting for Stone". It's interesting and you really get into the characters, they stick with you.
I spent the whole weekend moving. And packing. And more moving. And we're not done yet. The moving truck comes on Saturday morning to get the rest of our crap out of our current place.
So not a lot of fun stuff. Although I helped my friend with her bake sale yesterday. She raised $650 for St. Baldrick's Children's Cancer Foundation, to add to her money raised already. Her goal was to raise $1,000 by April 11th, when she shaves her head, and she's up to $1,955. I am so proud of her.
I am currently reading Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt.

Weekend was great with the 10k!
Not fun? Watch our local team lose in the Final Four.
What are you currently reading? a book about St. Pio's life. Pretty amazing stuff.
All in all, a much-needed refreshing weekend.
Bay - wow to your friend raising that money and shaving her head. So inspiring!
Friday, we watched TV -- "Merlin" and the series premiere of "Camelot." I'm a nut for Arthurian Legend. On Saturday, H and I shopped for some carpet. Found some we liked in our price range, then went to a hibachi grill (we had coupons!) and stopped for ice cream afterward. Sunday, the weather was wretched. I was wearing shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops on Saturday because it was 85 degrees out. Sunday, it snowed!!! Crazy...
I'm currently reading (very slowly) "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown. I need to get crackin' on it. I want to finish it by the end of April so I can get a different book to take on my trip to Boston.
Any recommendations on what I should read next?
It was wonderful! We did a ton of cleaning together Saturday and had company over that we went to dinner with to this awesome new Irish Pub near our new condo. Loved it!
Sunday we went to mass at my God fathers church and got to see him for a few afterwords. I brought a marriage cross with me my mom bought me and he blessed it then he blessed me and the baby so I felt good after that!
The we had dinner at my parents and I got to see my nephews that I just want to squeeze and kiss!
I am in the market for a new book right now. I just read week 17 in what to expect when expecting but I honestly don't love pregnancy books lol
My weekend was pretty sad - DH didn't get to come home afterall. He keeps saying two or three more days... and has been since Friday night
There is no possible way I'd have made it 2 months - I'm dying, and today was 2 weeks. I'm a baby, and I forgot how hard this distance crap is.
I did a lot around the house... The big fun thing is that I finished painting my closet hot pink, and I actually just now finished putting everything back. I even arranged my purses all cutesy on the shelves, so it looks like a little boutique in there or something. Not that my purses are that cute, but they're positioned cutely, lol. I am totally loving it. I'm going to get some sophisticated accessories in glossy black (new earring holder, necklace holder for the wall, etc), and then it'll be done! I can't wait to show off pictures... but for some reason, my camera card won't work on this computer, and DH has my laptop with him. The unfun stuff would be cleaning. Not that I got very far with it, but whatever. My house is still a bit of a disaster after the tile work DH did before he left. Oops! *blushes*
I'm not reading anything right now. I finished the important parts of TCOYF recently, and have been rereading certain chapters and bits as needed, but I really need a good book to enjoy. The problem is that I'm already being bad and delaying going to bed every night (I hate sleeping alone) so if I had a good book going, I'm sure I'd be staying up even later, which translates to a miserable and grouchy Angie the next day!
BLAHHHH! I was in the wedding from he[[...I had to help setupo, take down, 3 different picture times, barely anything to eat (rolls, meat trays, some fruit, icky jumbalaya, watered down lemonade and water) I could go on and on... but that was the majority of my weekend...
then a wonderful date night with DH on Sunday
It made my weekend better!
