How is everything in your area after the thunderstorms?
Our shed we have down a hill that keeps out lawnmower and stuff like that flooded last night since we have lived here that has never happened.
Last night when I was going home I had to go 40 on the highway because the rain was coming down so hard I could barely see. As I was changing highways last night I went past a field lightening struck in the field and caught a tree on fire. Of course that made the already stressful ride home even worse. When I finally made it home I did not realize it but my whole body was so tense.
Who let the dawgs out?

Re: Southern Girls
We had to go in the basement at work for about 30 minutes. Going home traffic lights were out, power lines were down, trees uprooted. It was crazy. I was glad to get home.
It looks like the weather events are over for our area.
we had a tornado warning around 8pm..just then it was crazy windy with sideways rain. Vivi's Cozy coupe car came off the ground, did flips and landed about 10 feet from out house. Once that band passed it still rained off and on, but it was much more calm.
my mom was on the road coming home from nola. She had to pull over for about an hour.
Now it's 51 degrees! BUURRR!!!
it got pretty crazy here too. i was able to get home before it hit thank goodness!
crazy crazy wind, rain, thunder and lighting from 5:30 til about 11pm
we didn't lose power, but a lot did. my little power company hubby says 86,000 lost in AL and 180,000 in GA
It was REALLY nasty from about 11-1. Power was out for 8 hours (11:30 - 7:30). No flooding, but the skirting around our house is undone, Chase's playhouse is in pieces and the boat cover was in the next pasture over. Lots of wind, sideways rain and hail. The lightening was something I haven't seen in years!
Pretty day today, though!
