I called my pcp, who was not working due to some training he was in all day today and tomorrow- with no one covering for him- so I called my pcp and explained to the nurse my symptoms...my doc called me in the zpack...I had NO idea I could take it, but it is on the safe list, so that's good.
I just want my head pressure to go away....!!!
EDIT I called my OB.
God. congestion head. Head. Go. Boom.

zithromax ( zpack is the 3 day treatment - also used for treatment of chlamydia ) is just an antibiotic.
can't imagine it would not be okay to take antibiotics in pregnancy ...
Mine is a 5 day, 6 pack; 2 on the first day, 1 on each day thereafter.
It's a class B in pregnancy,so it's OK to take. Kate, I do think there are some antibiotics that are not ok (e.g. erithromycin maybe? I forget).
