oliver has a bad diaper rash....its red and now blistered... i've been putting desitin on it but that isn't doing anything. is there something else i should use? is there a reason that he has this severe rash such as a food he is eating or something?! i don't think its teething as he has 10 teeth and hasn't gotten diaper rash with the first 10. i can't really think of a "new" food he has eaten and thought it was the antibiotic he was on last week but its been 7 days since he has been on it and its only getting worse. thanks.
Re: diaper rash
Sounds like a classic yeast rash often caused by antib's. Just use lotramin or neosporin AF under your desitin and it should go away pretty quickly.
Bumps/blisters + hard to get rid of with regular cream = yeast that needs an antifungal
