Re: breastmilk baby doll
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware; joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. -Henry Miller

Hm, I'm not sure what to think of this. I think it's a great idea for little girls and boys to see breastfeeding as a normal part of having a baby and to mimic mommy if that's how they want to play. I think girls and boys alike should have a doll of some sort to start to roleplay caregiving.
I don't however think it requires such a hefty pricetag, the electronics to make all the weird eating noises (bottle OR boob!), or the creepy bra with flower nipples! I think it would be healthy for a little boy with a nursing mother to mimic the feeding action; I think it's weird for him to have to put on a very female piece of clothing to do it!
Pass!
I totally agree with you. I think that most children will mimic actions they see. And yes breastfeeding is natural and something that both boys and girls can practice in their pretend play. I think the price and the overly female vest is outrageous.
This. But, I'm a big fan of make believe and don't think it's necessary for my daughter to have a doll that really poops and pees either.
yes. all of this.
