Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Random.. my unity candle.
I finally got around to decorating this shelf ladder/lamp thing we have and decided to use wedding stuff.. in showing my mom this weekend she asked; where is your unity candle and it's holder? I looked at the ladder and my hutch - no dice. I searched the attic through my wedding boxes - no dice.
Could this really be? Did we really never get it back from church and we haven't noticed for the last six months? Would they even have it at this point?! So, I remembered to call finally yesterday and they mention that they do have one at the church and have no idea who it belongs to. I drive over to the church after work and sure enough, it's ours!! I got the candles back and the lenox holder. The Priest said.. what were you married a few weeks ago? I giggled and said, well, a little longer than that 
I'm so happy that we have it back since the holder matches our set of everyyything else.. but I'm also completely embarrassed that we didn't even notice it was missing for six months!!

Of course I tried to sit down last night and find the list of the things I packed for the church box and reception box because now I'm all paranoid that I didn't get everything back.

I know right! And when I called he said.. well, we have ONE here.. and I seriously thought there's no way I'm the only assshole that left it there. Yup.
I wouldn't feel too bad about it. You got married that day! Certainly you were more concerned about other things!
If it makes you feel better, I have no clue where mine is...just have faith my parents packed it up the next morning. So it could very well still be at the hotel where we got married!
