I'm not the only one not going anywhere for our anniversary!
Re: Please tell me...
::raises hand::
Even if I weren't on bed rest for baby's sake, we hadn't planned anything. Probably would have gone out to dinner or something. The one thing we are doing, is our cake baker is making us a mini cake of our top layer, and my mom will pick it up next week and bring it with her when she comes down for my shower. We didn't save the top layer, so we'll have fresh cake to enjoy. Other than that though, not much will be going on.

Ooooo us either!!! We'll be home. In the morning we will eat stale cake lol
breakfast of champions, then we'll food shop then head over to my friend Kate's new house she's hosting a housewarming party. She asked for my OK before planning it on our anniversary. I had no reason to say no. So at least we will see our friends. Maybe Jon will remember the 1st anniversary dinner party we hosted for our friends 3 years ago and how the husband had them re-make the cake for her. I'm sure that would be tastier then what we are going to defrost.
I think we will go out for dinner to a place that makes an amazing short rib. But that will probably be mid week since its in the city.
Me me me!
Well, kinda. We're going to West Palm Beach the day before for Jimmy Buffett, but that is pure coincidence and not necessarily an anniversary trip. I just hope I'm not too hungover on Sunday to eat my nasty cake and drink delicious champagne!
That sounds fun! DH and I were sitting in hammocks one night on our honeymoon (on the beach of our resort in Key West) and a cover band was doing a bunch of JB songs so now whenever we hear them we remember sitting there!!
Enjoy!!

We're not, considering that we just got back from vacation! I guess I could consider that an anniversary trip, but we would have done it anyway and that wasn't really the intention. I would rather go away in March when the weather's crappy than in late April when it's nicer out. Plus, since our anniversary falls at the same time as Passover and Easter we wouldn't have been able to go away that weekend anyway.
I did just get a Living Social offer for a hotel on Long Island so I have been toying with booking that for the Saturday night of our anniversary weekend and going wine tasting. Since I'm doing the IVF in May, it could be my last chance to go wine tasting for a while.
