I did hear yesterday that anyone on unemployment would be ok through this month. Next month is another story.
Obama does not want to work with this, he is threatening to veto it. Vetoing this will make the shutdown happen. He is an idiot imo.
Then Obama and all of those in his 'favor' should go without pay until they figure it out. Freakin' ridiculous!
He and all of congress should definitely be going without pay!

i heard on the radio that active military won't be paid.. that makes me sick...
This is making Obama look even worse.

I had that non essential employees will have to take leave unpaid. And essential employees will remain on the job. But there is not telling how long it would last.
I know BIL is in the military and he would be paid for so much and then he would not be paid and be required to take leave of course without pay.
On anderson 360 last night someone said that it's in the constitution that during a shutdown the pres and congress are to keep getting paid...nice, huh? that's not saying they can't donate their paycheck to military families..ha! yeah right!
Still no reply from my boss about my job. I would guess that she doesn't know yet. We are paid through a federal grant, so i have no idea what that means for me.
i sure am glad we already took care of our taxes and got our refund though...
