Outfit SOS! Ever been to Gilly's at the BOB?
That's where DH is taking me tonight; they have a free lobster dinner special. I've already asked the cooking board how to attack the lobster; now I'm asking you what I should wear. Fashion is not my strong suit. Heck, it's not even a weak suit. It's just not one of my suits, ok?
Thanks
Re: Outfit SOS! Ever been to Gilly's at the BOB?
I haven't been - but I would say wear whatever makes you feel good! The weather's nice enough to get away with a skirt or dress if you're feeling fancy, otherwise I think nice jeans and a cute top is always a good standby.
Have fun!
I'm going with gray leggings, button-down purple shirt dress that hits mid-thigh, and mid-calf black leather boots. I'll probably belt the shirt.

Isn't it gorgeous?

The outfit you picked out sounds nice. Have fun!
Also, as far as attacking the lobster: If you do not feel adventurous and do not want to crack it apart, remove the head yourself and all that, you can ask the staff to do it for you. Whenever I have lobster I ask for it to be served that way. There is definitely a trick to it. If you don't remove the head correctly you get green sh!t all over your food. :-)
Ew, really? This makes me never-ever want to attempt to eat a lobster.
The green shaboopy is between the tail and head part, and some people consider it a delicacy... no thanks.
At Gilly's they did the difficult stuff without me asking; that sucker was served with claws removed, tail removed and split. Delightful!

ewwwwwwwwwwwwww
Barf! One more reason I don't eat anything that swims!
No way! Cool.
We had a good time; J said he's had better steaks though. I told him "Good thing we're not here for the steak."
