Not to be a selfish heifer, since I don't know how other agencies will be impacted, but the head of our agency just sent an e-mail saying that, even if Congress doesn't pass a budget by tomorrow night, we will be able to remain open for business using our prior year budget authority for two more weeks. I would really really like to keep working so that I can keep saving money right now given how much our finances are going to change in June.
Re: Whew- I am so relieved
As far as I know my H still has to go to work for no paycheck. I mean, he will get paid at some point but not until those a-holes in DC get their heads out of their asses.
But good to know you still have money coming in! I will have to ask my H when he gets home if something like that is set up for the BP.
Baby Macy is here!

I'm just assuming this means that payroll will go forward as scheduled, but that's not a guarantee. As long as I get paid eventually, it's a-ok with me. DH will definitely be furloughed though so he's going to be sitting at home and eating bonbons while I'm bringing home the bacon.
[I hope you know I am joking]
