It's all about jeans!
1) How many pairs of jeans do you own. (that fit right now)
2) How long do you expect jeans to last?

Re: QOTD
1. one pair that fit right, one that I think is too short but probably really isn't and I just bought a new pair but I haven't worn them because I'm not sure about them yet
2. since I'm not hard on them, 2-3 years
1) I have two
2) I'd expect at least a year since I also wear track pants and khakis some days, but both of my pairs of jeans are frayed at the bottom (because I'm short and walk on them) AND now both have a hole in the knee. They're 6 mos old!!!! So not happy.
4 that I wear, but I wouldn't say any of them fit great. I've always carried any extra weight in my belly area. Jeans fit fine at the store, but after a few hours of wear, they tend to sit below my tummy and eventually slide too low on my non-curvy hips. I'm constantly tugging them up and battling the dreaded muffin. Sorry, probabably tmi.
I only wear jeans on casual Fridays at work and occasionally on weekends, so they last a long time. I'd prefer to wear almost anything over jeans.
I'm going to preface this by saying I can wear jeans to work. Ha! I currently have 8 pairs of jeans that fit right now but they are all a different style- some longer, some shorter, couple pairs of skinny and a couple pairs of trouser. All depends on my mood.
I expect a good pair of jeans to last at least 5 years. I do have a pair that I consider my 'when I was skinny jeans' and have had them 12 years. A little frayed but still cool- hoping to get into those soon!

Currently 2 pairs

At least a year or two! I hate buying jeans, they are so hard to find the perfect fit!
1. I own 3 pairs that are huge on me. I own 2 pairs that actually fit.
2. 2-3 years, sometimes longer. I wear my jeans forever.

1) NONE! My maternity pair are very saggy in the butt and too long. My others, well, they aren't maternity wear - ha! Before pregnancy though, I had 2 or 3 pair that fit, but I almost always just wore the 1 pair.
2) I think jeans should last a couple years as long as they still fit. I only wear jeans on the weekends though and rotate with skirts, dresses, khakis, and yoga pants.
Maybe adam is right and i do have a jean buying problem...
I have probably 20 pairs? all fit, some better than others. I have gotten rid of the ones that don't fit or that I don't like any more. I tend to wear the same 4-5 pairs all the time though. I don't know if I have expectations for how long they should last. I tend to grow tired of the style before they wear out. I do, however, still wear some pairs from HS, so I guess they do last quite a while.

I have 3 pairs that I wear regularly. I think I have a 4th pair in my closet but rarely wear them because I don't like the cut.
I usually spend $40 or less per pair & get them at Old Navy or Target. I expect them to last at 1-2 years. (Mine fray at the bottom too, I'm too tall for short jeans but too short for regular jeans.)
