Just had my first pg breakdown
and *of course* it had to be at work. As some of you know I work at a bank. So I did all of my morning paperwork routine, checking for deposits, etc. I grab my drawer (which I'm not even sure I am allowed to carry since it is heavy) walk to my desk and am in the middle of placing it in the drawer when BOOOM! The lid flies off, the whole thing falls to the floor and [an undisclosed amount of] bills and coins fly everywhere! So I say "Are you KIDDING me?!?!" I sit down on the floor, start to clean up and cry my eyes out.
Is this type of emotional breakdown stuff going to happen to me the whole pregnancy?! Ack!
Re: Just had my first pg breakdown
I'm so sorry
Just remember you're hormones will get back to normal in less than 9 months.
I've had breakdowns from time to time. My most recent one was because I couldn't find the new address for a friend that just moved.
oh yeah - welcome!
It'll go back to normal a bit after your LO is here, but I'm generally much more emotional now than I was pre-PG
I cried in the car the other morning to one of the cheesiest songs ever.
Don't be surprised if it gets worse!! haha.
Umm..this! The first 2 months after DD was born, I was a wreck!
Oh no, I am so sorry! Unfortunately it gets worse before it gets better.
One time I cried when the man in front of me took the last blueberry muffin. It made no sense at all, there were 20 other kinds of muffins most of which I liked... So embarassing.
I'm sorry about the breakdown - it happens!
FWIW, I wouldn't worry that your drawer is too heavy. Unless you are really straining to lift it, it should be fine. And I think the lifting thing is more of an issue later in pregnancy when your stomach muscles are shot and your joints are looser and your balance is off. I'm super clumsy these days!

Okay, I thought maybe that was you. I will accept it then! LOL
Hang in there!!
Aw, I'm sorry, that sucks.
If it makes you feel better, somedays something like that would make me cry too, and I'm not pregnant lol.
