s/o Pioneer Woman Noodle Bake

What kind of veggie do you do with it? Can I add peas to the mix? I thought of doing a salad on the side, but that's a lot of work and the dressing always nixes the healthy factor for me Embarrassed. I suppose I could use fat free dressing, but that's no fun.

Re: s/o Pioneer Woman Noodle Bake

  • Today I'm having my leftovers for lunch with a salad on the side.

Last night we had it with sauteed green beans and stuffed tomatoes

The night before we had it with roasted brocolli.

I do not like peas, so I'm going to abstain on that question.

  • I've never made anything PW.

Am I weird? I should probably try it...

This is the first time I've made one of her recipes. Usually recipe blogs scare me because the recipes have tons of steps and ingredients and that frightens me. I like easy. This one looks really easy!

  • Honestly, most of PWs stuff isn't all that complicated.  Of course, most of the food blogs I read are baking-specific, so my "not complicated" may be different than yours.

    She's worth checking out!

Not complicated to me means 5 ingredients and one pan. Anything beyond that is intimidating! This is why DH does most of the cooking in our house Big Smile It's not that I can't do more, but I don't really like cooking so less is always more in my case. I leave the hard stuff up to H.

  • I made it with green beans tonight, leftovers tomorrow will most likely be with a salad.

    It was yummy.
