How's the decision coming?
Re: Amy/Erica - Names
UGH. I think the real problem is that Brian and I each have favorites and none of them are each other's favorites. Then there's the ones we both like, but neither love. I'm obsessing over it and keep feeling like we just haven't found "the one"!
My two favorites are: Piper May and Dorothea May
Brian's: Molly May and Zoe May
Mutual likes but not loves: Mya Grace, Mya Claire, and Lucy May
Thanks for asking by the way, I'm starting to annoy even myself!
this . except i am not obsessing. this poor baby is sooo the third kid. i dont know when dr appts are , i have nothing planned, prepared, thought about...
anyway- i think my first choices for boys are jasper and asher. i dont know about girls... i really like vivienne .chris does not - like at all. he likes lola. we are def closer with boy names than with girls.
Here's what we did because we were stuck like you guys.
We have a white bored in out kitchen and I wrote all the contending names there. They sat there for MONTHS until one of us would decide we didn't like one of them and we would cross it off. We would also play around with different 1st and middle combos.
For example, we mutually liked the name Amelia. It was on the bored forever (one of our top 3) and one day I decided that it was becoming too popular and I really didn't want a popular name-so I crossed it off. Eventually there were two sitting there staring at me and driving me crazy. I loved them both (Cora & Liza) so I was okay with either (I really did want Liza though) and one day when I woke up, Liza was the last name on the list
Good luck! What a wonderful thing to stress about!! lol
That's a super cute idea!
With us, Dave wouldn't even discuss it until we knew the gender. I had two names in mind (Lucas David and Layla Cassandra). When we saw he was a boy, I just wasn't feeling Lucas the same. I still love it, but didn't think it was right for this baby. We opened a baby book on Friday and started throwing names out. Dave said, "Jackson???" All excitedly and I said YES!
you could use mikes theory.... if its a boy the dad names him if its a girl the mom names her...lmao
it kind of worked out that way with us too, he picked liam and i really didnt like it at first, i just wanted to "say" it to myself for a bit but honestly he wasnt budging... and now he is soooo a liam.
with ryan i have wanted that as a daughters name since before i even knew mike! ha.
good luck!!!!!!!
Mila, Isla, and Lola! That SO has to be your girl name! It just flows nicely with the sisters names. And I love Asher!!
Once we had an inkling of what Kyle's first name would be, we had Shannon say it. It was so cute, if there had been any doubt in our minds, her little voice would have made it up for us!
GOOD LUCK, LADIES! Choosing names is so hard.
