1) What's your favorite outfit? IDK, my favorite shirt right now, though, is a cotton tank I bought last summer at ON. It's charcoal and has bronze, gold, and gunmetal beading on the front.
2) Did you participate in any clubs in high school/college? Yes! In HS I was in: marching band, concert band, pep band, concert choir, jazz choir, robotics and engineering club, science club, poetry club (1 yr only), theater (1 yr only). My first two years at Rutgers, I participated in LLEGO which was an LGBT group, LAWO which was a latina group, and dorm govt. I haven't joined anything at my current uni yet.
3) What about Summer are you most looking forward to? More time to do things I want to do.
4) If you were to buy a new car right now what would you get? hmmmm...
5) What's your favorite cookie? That's tough. Either white choc macadamia nut or oatmeal raisin.
6) Seen any good movies lately? No, but I rented a really terrible movie called The Trial with Matthew Modine. Terrible. Uknown with Liam Neeson was ok but predictable.
7) What's your dream job? I'm working on it. I need to talk to a few people in the profession first, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to work in historic preservation. I'm currently completing my BS in Interior Design which requires 3 history courses. One I completed last fall and loved; another I'm completing now and LOVE. It ties in with my focus on green design because, as the Natl Trust for Historic Preservation states: "The greenest building is the one that is already built." The idea of restoring old buildings to their glory while making them current and sustainable is exciting!
1) What's your favorite outfit? Right now I'm loving my dark jeans with floaty, drapey light blue cardigan (which I made, of course), a chunky necklace, and wedges.
2) Did you participate in any clubs in high school/college? Yes, I was really into theatre in high school and some of college. It was actually very competitive and intense in high school--we would compete against other high schools. Then I ran the swing dancing club with DH (then BF) in college.
3) What about Summer are you most looking forward to? Sunshine, green, and no more frost on my car in the mornings.
4) If you were to buy a new car right now what would you get? Easy, a mini cooper. I've been lusting after one for a long time now, but DH and I are thinking about buying a house soon, sooo that will just have to wait.
5) What's your favorite cookie? All of them. Seriously, there is no cookie I will turn down.
6) Seen any good movies lately? Hmm, not really a movie, but I've been getting really into Mad Men on dvd lately.
7) What's your dream job? I wish I knew. I will have to start thinking about this very soon, though. The boss has been mumbling that if we don't get more business soon, he's going to have to cut back people's hours. I don't think it would be me he cuts, but it's time to dust off the ol' resume...

I'm here! Just oober busy- I hired a cycling coach so between work, workouts, and rides, I'm pretty much dead. Home today with mild back pain (and cleaning the house instead of resting) so, HI!
1) What's your favorite outfit?
Nudity. I hate clothing, and wish I never needed it.
2) Did you participate in any clubs in high school/college?
Not really. I was a drama geek, but too wierd for the cool kids, and not messed up enough for the derelicts. I just kind of wandered around....
3) What about Summer are you most looking forward to?
Vegas! DH's birthday trip, one month from today!
4) If you were to buy a new car right now what would you get?
Hmmm....that's rough. I'd like something tiny, but the idea of a honking SUV to throw bikes and gear in would be nice too. Maybe a SMART car with a trailer?
5) What's your favorite cookie?
Vegan. Any kind, as long as I don't have to ask what's in it.

7) What's your dream job?
Bakery and bike shop owner. I'm thinking of like a place that caters to women, so they can ride in, have coffee and a muffin, and maybe get their brakes adjusted. All at once. Something that would become a community hub, and include all kinds of riders. And vegan cookie enthusiasts. Veloboulonge?
1) What's your favorite outfit? I have a really busted pair of jean capris that I love to wear in the summer with a tank or rock t-shirt and my red chucks. I can't wait for the snow to melt just a bit more to get them on.
2) Did you participate in any clubs in high school/college? Our school didn't really have alot of things to do other them sports but I was in Drama and one year I wrote a kinda comedic advice colomn for our newspaper. And I wrote for the newspaper the first year I was in college but then I quit college altogether and didn't go back until 3 years ago but I didn't do anything that time.
3) What about Summer are you most looking forward to? Wearing less clothes, my hands not being so dry and road tripping.
4) If you were to buy a new car right now what would you get? If I could get what I wanted and money was nothing I would get a Land Rover but since i'm poor I'd settle for a cute little Kia Soul.
5) What's your favorite cookie? I love Oreos and these chocolate whip squares my mom makes. But I would be hard pressed to find a cookie I don't like.
6) Seen any good movies lately? I'm not really a movie watched but I did see Mega Mind on a flight and it was Ok, my mom was next to me watching black swan...disturbing.
7) What's your dream job? Something where I can be creative and think outside the box. I am not loving my current job because just to ridgid and there are to many people around me all the time. I have no idea what I am good at or what transferrable skills I have so I am stuck for the moment. But I keep thinking a library or museum or newspaper would be a good home for me for a while.
1. Favorite outfit - I have some new jeans that fit amazingly well, some cute new platform shoes to go with them, a long camisole with lace at the top and bottom, and a deep Vneck shirt that shows it all off.
2. Clubs - not a lot in highschool - key club which is a volunteering club only. I worked 2 lifeguarding jobs and was on the swim team too so I didn't have a lot of spare time for that kind of thing. College though, I was on Student Activities Council (we planned 75% of the campus activities - I ran homecoming), a sorority, Habitat for Humanity, Anthropology Club VP, swam on the swim team for a year and I think that is all.
3. Summer = beautiful season here in MN. Getting outside is on the top of my list. I'm challenging myself to run a 5K before fall comes so I guess that? Couch to 5K is going to be my new best friend.
4. New Car - Ford Flex. I just think they're fun and big enough for a family without having to get a minivan which I am NOT ready for.
5. Cookie = butterscotch oatmeal. Love them.
6. Good movies = nope. Last movie I saw in the theater was Harry Potter so its been a while.
7. Dream job = volunteering on a permanent basis.
There is a shop sorta like this by my office! It is a bike shop/bike repair/coffee bar - I haven't had occasion to stop in but it gets good reviews from folks.
1) What's your favorite outfit? Right now I have dark denim bootcut jeans/dress pants with a white shirt, hot pink cardi and a pink and orange scare...NY&CO got me good with their spring collection!

1) What's your favorite outfit? Oh, depends on the day. Usually really cute BCBG heels, dark wash jeans and cute top for going out. Being back in college, I don't really get the opportunity to do the fashion thing much anymore.

Here we go: high school: steering committee, student council, national honor society, cheer team (would have done more but had 2 jobs as well). College: dorm sports, dorm council, kappa delta pi (education honor society), council for exceptional children, MATCEI
3) What about Summer are you most looking forward to? Graduation, some actual time to relax, and getting out on my bike every day!

7) What's your dream job? Fighter pilot. Hands down - its been my dream ever since I was in preschool. Unfortunately, my vision and knee injuries disqualified me before I had a chance to finish aviation flight science school. (so now my plan B dream job is anything working with kids with moderate to severe cognitive impairment - way different, but just as much fun!)

I work with some awesome, awesome people who specialize in historic preservation (not of buildings, necessarily, but "things"). I PPH you Witchy, and I am totally guilty of popping in to see what's up and then leaving if nothing new has happened! My bad.
1) What's your favorite outfit? I have a great dress that fits me just right, and I wear it all the time! (me in the front at my bridal shower)
BUT! I just bought a new dress that could rival that one! I've decided that I am going to be a dress girl, since pants never fit me properly.
2) Did you participate in any clubs in high school/college? I was a choir girl. I started singing when I was 3 and stayed with it into college, when I had to get a job to support myself and had no more free time. I was also in the annual musical, a yearbook editor, and school papaer columnist.

My goal in HS was to have the most activities listed in the yearbook. I won. Theater, Concert Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Gay Straight Alliance, Peer Counselor, National Honor Society (and served as secretary my senior year), managed the Cross County and Track teams, Green Mountain Teens (a drug/alcohol awareness program in VT), and I tutored.
Then I went to college and stopped caring. I did band there for a bit (but the band wasn't good) and participated in some theater things because a lot of my friends were theater majors.
3) What about Summer are you most looking forward to?
Taking Liam to Vermont, going to the beach here in MD, going to New Orleans for the American Library Association conference!
4) If you were to buy a new car right now what would you get?
Something reliable but cheap with a big trunk.

Chocolate chip...or our cafeteria at work has these yummy cranberry white chocolate chip ones.

Not really...but I'm watching the BBC series "Downton Abbey" on netflix right now and I am in LOVE!

Children's librarian...but since the job market for them is looking bleak I've decided to focus on Digital Archiving...it probably sounds dull to most people but I find it fascinating and fast changing/growing!

1) What's your favorite outfit? I just bought a bunch of really cute spring/summer tops at Ann Taylor Loft & The Limited about a month ago. They are all very springy and colors, which I rarely wear. I can't wait to start busting them out now!
2) Did you participate in any clubs in high school/college? I was in our theater group but that was about it. I did NOT fit in at high school at all so I didn't join anything else. It was hard enough to go a day w/out getting made fun of, and all those same people were in the clubs so I stayed far, far away. Now that I'm in college, I just don't have the time to drive 45 mins each way after working 10+ hours a day to try and participate in anything there. That and they don't seem to cater to us working adults so everything is during the times I can't get there.
3) What about Summer are you most looking forward to? Taking pictures! I'm so excited to get out and start shooting again, I've def missed it! That and we just bought a gun last weekend, so we will hopefully be taking that to some ranges and getting our CCW's soonish.
4) If you were to buy a new car right now what would you get? I would buy the same type of car I have now, its a 2010 Mercury Milan. Mercury isn't being made anymore, but the car is soooo nice!
5) What's your favorite cookie? a thin mint style cookie; our grocery store has Keebler cookies that are the same thing for less money so when I want them, I just go there.
6) Seen any good movies lately? The last movie we watched in the theater was The Rite; it was awesome! We get stuff from Netflix all the time but haven't one that I've really liked enough to watch recently.
7) What's your dream job? Criminal Psychologist. I've been working on bachelor's to do this for years and I really, really, really want to be done w/ school so I can start working in the field. Its so hard coming to work every day at a job I detest, but it pays our bills and also has allowed me to pay out of pocket for all my tuition and school related expenses (they don't know I'm in school, but I can work as much OT as I want) so I haven't had to take out any student loans yet.
1) What's your favorite outfit? Since I am so pale I don't wear shorts very often which is funny since I live in AZ. I never have been very comfortable in them. I do wear dresses however.
