whats my hold up?

For some reason I can't find music to walk down the aisle to. I had something picked out, but every version of it I found was really fast. I don't want to use anything traditional because...well I just don't. Here's what I've found that I like:

I found a version that has a good orchestra part to go with the piano. What do ya'all think? Is it bridal enough or should I keep looking?

Re: whats my hold up?

  • hmmmm i don't know what bridal enough means but for some reason i am not all that excited about it. it seems more background music-ish than something worthy of your grand entrance. but it could also be the recording. i walked down the aisle to an acoustical version of in my life by the beatles. sadly the aisle was so long and the music wasn't amplified (we were outside) and i never really heard it :-(

  • I kind of agree with MD, it would be ok for playing while everyone is getting seated but given your venue, dress, etc, I would choose something more "grand" as your entrance. But then again I'm partial to dramatic entrances. We used Canon but I know that's super common and kind of boring.

The version I downloaded has a big orchestra entrance after the first minute. I wish I could find that recording on YouTube, its quite dramatic. I was thinking of letting it play the first minute then start walking when the orchestra comes in. Might confuse people but I think it will be big enough.

    Oh ok, that sounds better!
