I'm bored, and curious (or nosey)....so I'm wondering...
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? (Babies, Home Improvement Projects, Crafts, etc)
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? KU, Currently TTC, Baby Fever but waiting, No desire right now but definitely someday, or No babies for us...ever.
3) What are your hobbies?
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading
Re: Humor me...
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? Nothing really, I never thought I was one of those people that needed something to "plan" but I'm starting to think thats where my baby fever started, not long after the wedding ended - baby fever hit hard. I'm enjoying planning my friends Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party, but I have a feeling its going to be rough when thats over lol.
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? Baby Fever but waiting
3) What are your hobbies? I dont have any at the moment, I do enjoy coupon shopping but its pretty time consuming and I dont do it often. I like to read but haven't read a new book in at least a month, and well...yea - I guess I could use a new hobby - hopefully something you ladies list will peak some interest.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading - Well I'm both dreading, and looking forward to SIL's shower - weird I know. Dreading because I'm annoyed with the whole situation, but looking forward to seeing my neice there, and making some really cute cupcakes for it. Other than that, I am looking forward to going to Cancun in September - we just planned it and I can't wait!

Linds -- I am one of those people! I HAVE to have a project or plan or I start feeling restless and aimless.
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? We're looking for a new place, and when we move there will be a new setup to plan. I'm also putting together our "honeymoon" in Peru later this year and my ILs are due for a stay in the winter. A little further out is SIL's wedding (*fingers crossed*) which we're hoping for in about a year. That will mean another trip plus helping plan the event(s).
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? I am so up in the air! I'm not really sure if I want any at all. I like some kids, but sometimes I leave people's houses thinking Thank God I don't have this at home! I also feel like DH won't help out at all because he doesn't do anything at home and I'll be forced to stay home. On the other hand, it could be very rewarding to watch your baby turn into a great companion.
3) What are your hobbies? I'm really into cooking. I try new recipes all the time and I love reading through cookbooks for something new. Luckily, since there's all this food around, I also like sports. I'm most into PIlates, but I also like tennis and skiing.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading I'm both dreading and looking forward to moving. Moving is a lot of work, but it will be great to be in a better place. Definitely looking forward to the Peru trip and dreading the ILs.
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? (Babies, Home Improvement Projects, Crafts, etc) Well, I'm stockpiling my craft supplies so I can start designing and making invitations to put up for sale on Etsy. I'm also getting everyting in order so I can start making our wedding scrapbook soon.
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? KU, Currently TTC, Baby Fever but waiting, No desire right now but definitely someday, or No babies for us...ever. Right now, I definitely have some major baby fever. We thought for the past week and a half that I might be pregnant, but AF showed up yesterday. DH and I were both really disappointed. So, we might start TTC very soon.
3) What are your hobbies? I love doing all sorts of paper crafts, like scrapbooking and card making. I love to read as well. I'm on book number 21 for the year and am hoping to read at least 50 for the year.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading My niece is turning two in about a week. Her party should be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to hanging out with the family on that day. Then, my 25th birthday is coming up in 2 weeks. I'm both looking forward to it and kind of dreading it. I don't like when people make a big deal about me. But we're going to a White Sox game to celebrate the week after. So, I'm excited for that.
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? KU, Currently TTC, Baby Fever but waiting, No desire right now but definitely someday, or No babies for us...ever. I know we'll have kids and probably start TTC soon given our age and in case we have any problems. MH wants three, I'm only wanting two.
3) What are your hobbies? Reading, cooking, playing with the dog and cat. I'd like to get into photography for fun. I feel like I need some hobbies. I do have a half finished dollhouse I started a few years ago. Maybe I should go back to working on that.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading. Looking forward to our vacation this summer. Not really dreading anything. I also might be looking forward to this government furlough!
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? (Babies, Home Improvement Projects, Crafts, etc)
At the moment, nothing. I am one of those people that needs something to plan, to focus on and it's killing me!
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? KU, Currently TTC, Baby Fever but waiting, No desire right now but definitely someday, or No babies for us...ever.
We want to have kids, but we're going to wait a few years.
3) What are your hobbies?
I love to run and sign up for races, but dang those get expensive! I also started knitting after I saw Baystate's blog and it's a lot of fun. I guess I count reading as a hobby, too.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading
Currently, I am looking forward to the weekend. But I am dreading the month of June since we have a wedding nearly every weekend and/or something else that we have to attend.
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? (Babies, Home Improvement Projects, Crafts, etc) WE ARE MOVING TOMORROW. OMG. FINALLY.
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? KU, Currently TTC, Baby Fever but waiting, No desire right now but definitely someday, or No babies for us...ever. We are planning to start TTC around our one-year anniversary. Hoping for a 2012 baby!
3) What are your hobbies? Reading, knitting, blogging ::looks down:: Watching TV, shopping (when I have money).
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading My sister and friends and I are going to Brooklyn Botanical Gardens next weekend in NY to see the cherry blossoms. I'm also looking forward to finally being in our new place. I am dreading Easter Week, because it is the busiest week at my job all year.
Books read in 2012: 21/50
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? (Babies, Home Improvement Projects, Crafts, etc) Getting our carpet and vinyl flooring redone in a week or two.
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? Baby fever, but waiting.
3) What are your hobbies? DH and I like to play video games together. I also like to read and we go to the movies almost once or twice a week.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading? DH promised me that the next weekend the weather is nice he'll drive me down to Colorado Springs to go to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
And I booked plane tickets to go back to Ohio in July -- gonna go to Cedar Point, my favorite place on Earth.
I'm bored, and curious (or nosey)....so I'm wondering...
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? (Babies, Home Improvement Projects, Crafts, etc).
Hormone health. And hopefully a baby soon.
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? KU, Currently TTC, Baby Fever but waiting, No desire right now but definitely someday, or No babies for us...ever.
Frustration lol. I am restless to start TTC but we are trying to sort out my hormones. I am to the point where I just want to start TTC regardless of any question marks hormonally. I know, not logical.
3) What are your hobbies?
Used to be horseback riding, but after my second major injury last year, I quit.
This year, my hobbies seem to be studying (ha), writing, and more wedding planning thanks to my stepsister.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading.
Looking forward to a week away for Fertilitycare training. I think it will be very interesting and also a nice break from the daily grind. I am dreading setting up the details. It's only a few weeks away, and I am still not sure how I am getting there (it's a couple states away). We are awaiting funding from an organization that promised it, but I am nervous they won't come through. Also, looking forward to my stepsis' wedding. Dreading my twin sister's move far, far away.
Temurlang - if it's any consolation on the baby front, even people who don't love being around children will often fall madly in love with their own. (Speaking as one who was never comfortable around babies, and neither was my twin... I really wondered if she would like motherhood and lo and behond, it's an entirely different story with her own! My coworkers and I have talked about this too as many of my coworkers are not "kid people.")
Zara -- yeah, I do think my own would be different. And I also think that some of what I don't like about the lifestyle is choice. I see a lot of women who talk about how they can't do anything anymore or how their kids "don't let" them do things. I know that's a choice (I wasn't brought up that way) but it scares me.
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? (Babies, Home Improvement Projects, Crafts, etc)
Baby (crossed fingers), Alaska trip this July
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? KU, Currently TTC, Baby Fever but waiting, No desire right now but definitely someday, or No babies for us...ever.
Currently TTC. We just finished up month 2 and AF came this week, so here's to trying again this month!
3) What are your hobbies? I'm pretty boring when it comes to hobbies. Watching movies would be one for sure. I wish I would sit down & read more.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading
Looking forward to going back home to visit my family Easter weekend. Haven't seen them in about 2 1/2 months.
Temurlang - sometimes that scares me too.
It has helped me to watch my twin sister raise hers. She's balanced things well, and they do seem to grow fast and get "fun" and independent. But sometimes I stress about the big changes, anyway.
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? (Babies, Home Improvement Projects, Crafts, etc) Oh, I'm a planner-type person too! I have a long list. I'm planning several home projects, including my dining room furniture, kitchen paint, bedroom paint, and then putting together a couple other rooms in the house - even though we've been here a year and a half, there are still SO many things I want to do to our house to make it "us." Well, mostly "me" because DH doesn't have much of an opinion on house stuff. I'm also planning for DH to be gone for a while again soon (about three weeks again this time, and only 4 hours away, so I can visit if I want), and then he is probably going to school in the fall, so that will really shake things up for us for a little while... so yeh, there's a lot of planning going on for me!
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? KU, Currently TTC, Baby Fever but waiting, No desire right now but definitely someday, or No babies for us...ever. Baby fever but waiting. I just started a new job, and I want to make sure it's what I'm expecting before I start having babies - in my field, a lot of jobs require tons of overtime, but this one isn't supposed to, so we'll see. Also, it makes more sense to wait with DH being in school this fall... so I'm thinking the end of this year, first of 2012. Haven't brought that up to DH just yet - unlike me, he is NOT a planner. He needs about two weeks' notice for whatever is going on... longer than that and he forgets!
3) What are your hobbies? I'm pretty boring. I love fixing up the house, but it's something that I fizzle on quickly (well, on individual projects at least). I like reading, but am not good at choosing books. I like having pretty flowerbeds... but I'm especially good at killing my plants.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading. I'm dreading DH leaving town again... but we have about a week together before he goes, so I will enjoy every minute of it. I can't really think of anything concrete that I'm looking forward too... and that realization just made me a little sad
A little late to this, but here are my answers:
1) What, if anything are you "planning for" at the moment? (Babies, Home Improvement Projects, Crafts, etc) Immediately: search for a new job. This month: plan DH's bday party. 4 months: vacation to east coast. 1-2 year plan: move away from Seattle. Possibly internationally! 4 years: start a family
2) Where do you stand on the baby front? KU, Currently TTC, Baby Fever but waiting, No desire right now but definitely someday, or No babies for us...ever. I have baby fever due to people around me popping out babies left and right, although it has calmed down some. As of now, the plan in to wait 4 years to start a family.
3) What are your hobbies? Musical theatre - I subscribe to one of the theatres in town. Also subscriber to the symphony and enjoy seeing other art forms. Love the food scene in Seattle and enjoy cooking (when I have time)! Of course I read (in a book club) and listen to music. I play board games with my friends. I'm getting more into photography and I can see that becoming a solid hobby in the future. And I just got into sewing and making clothes.
4) Name something(s) you are looking forward to....or something you're dreading Looking forward to our trip to the east coast in September! We'll hit up Boston, DC, and New York. Yay for seeing shows on Broadway!!
Good luck Scarlet, jmkes, and zara on the baby front!!
